Root Analysis (from Week 2)

I removed the extra plants growing in each cup and noticed that the roots looked different.

For the radish experimental 1 group, mold was beginning to grow around the plants. The roots were packed together in a small bunch and mold was growing around it. This did not effect the plant growth.

These pictures are roots from the radish control and radish experiment 2. The experiment 2 roots appear to be similar to the control and can be assumed to be normal.

Roots from radish experiment 3 are very long roots when pulled from the soil. This may be due to being strong to where I couldn't pull or break them.

Similar results were seen when I removed tomato plants a few days later.
